Kate Woodward Young, M.Ed., PCC is an author, speaker, executive coach, and business strategist whose work centers on one idea: the most important things we create are often invisible. For more than thirty years she has helped organizations see the forces behind their results — authority, judgment, responsibility, and culture.
She is the co-author of 11 industry books, several used as textbooks in director credentialing, administrator development, and professional learning programs, and hosts Childcare Conversations.

Kate Woodward Young, M.Ed., PCC is an author, speaker, executive coach, ICF Professional Certified Coach, and host of Childcare Conversations. Her work explores authority, judgment, decision-making, responsibility, invisible work, and organizational sustainability — the forces that shape how an organization actually behaves.
With experience as a teacher, family child care provider, director, multi-site program manager, business owner, association executive, SBA business analyst, curriculum writer, and trainer, Kate speaks from the seat rather than the sidelines.
She is the co-author of 11 industry books, including texts used in director credentialing, administrator development, and professional learning programs.
Her sessions give audiences language for patterns they have lived inside for years: the distance between the responsibility people carry and the authority they are given, the work that holds an organization up without ever appearing in a job description, and the trust, belonging, and expectations that never show up on a spreadsheet and decide almost everything.
